5/23Ben was reminiscent as we drove through the Smoky Mountains one last time before Portland. The Smokies are actually listed as a top 10 natural beauty in the U.S. in our Lonely Planet guide. Right in our backyard!
Ben's dad gave our car a final check; Halley's dad tries to learn a thing or two. The ladies stay inside finishing off the top layer of wedding cake :-)
We discovered the $500 brakes we paid for this fall hadn't actually been fully replaced. It appears they even gave us someone else's rotors when we asked for our parts.
Halley's indignation elicited encouragement once again to become a lawyer.
